Worship Worship is essential to the Christian life. At Worship we praise the Lord for the many blessings and the redemption; we learn and are challenged by the Word and the message; we raise the concerns of individuals, the community and the world in prayer; and we return the blessings through our tithes and offerings. Regular Worship servicesGrace UMC worship services are traditional services with a contemporary, more relaxed atmosphere at the first service. Grace has 2 worship services: 8:00 and 10:00. Adult Education and socializing is at 9:00. Sunday School for children occurs during the 10:00 service. Children go to worship and stay with their families until Children’s Time, when they will be dismissed to attend Sunday School. Special Worship servicesAsh Wednesday Children’s ChurchChildren’s Church is a church service for children ages 4 to 8. The children attend the regular worship service and leave for Children’s Church following Children’s Time. The goals of Children’s Church are to teach the Children about worship and to engage the children in a worship service appropriate to their age. Link to Children’s Church Committee. Children's Church occurs on Sundays when Sunday School is not in session. Worship CommitteeThe Grace Worship Committee is comprised of dedicated men and women. Our main focus is to enrich the worship experience by concentrating on the needs of our congregation. Whether we are selecting the music for a special service , selecting what type of bread to use for communion or deciding who should contact members to take part as worship leaders, we do so with a commitment to God and our congregation.
